THEATRE E9 KYOTOで上演されたneji&co.『Cue』サウンドトラック。作品のタイトルになっている“Cue”はきっかけ、手係り、合図を意味する。また、舞台作品でパフォーマーが登場する、退場する、音響や照明が変化するなど、公演中に起こる様々な出来事のきっかけを“キュー”と言う。現状を打破するために抗議の声を上げたり、慣れ親しんだ土地を離れて暮らすことを決めたり、生きることそのものを決断しなおしたりするように、未来の変化や、自身の変容を求めて影響力を行使する行為に人を駆り立てるきっかけがあれば、なす術なく、過酷な現実の中で正気を保ちながら、希望を失わずに待ち続けるきっかけもあるということを、コロナ禍で強く思い知らされた。『Cue』は、きっかけを作ること、きっかけを待つこと、きっかけによって動くことを振付として扱う。様々な振付を体に作用させ、持続する現在の外に出ることを試みる。
